April Challenge:Make a lathe tool handle. (March demo was making lathe tool handles).
April Demo: Jerry McMaster will demonstrate making captive spheres.

Upcoming Meeting Demos
May Demo: Kevin Neelley will demonstrate using two Trent Bosch hollowing tools: the Stabilizer and the Visualizer.
June Demo: Mike McReynolds will demonstrate making a Mystic Box. Similar to the Cryptex on the Da Vinci Code movie.
July Demo: Shaun McMahon and Kris Coyan will show how to make Top Games.
August Demo: Chip Siskey will demonstrate something very interesting. Check back here for details.
September Demo: Jack Karstans will demonstrate making a Triangle from a Cube. Sounds interesting.
October Demo: Professional Woodturner Trent Bosch will turn live for us via the Internet. More info will come later. There will be a $10 voluntary donation to help defray Trent's fee.
November Demo: Sue Bergstrand will demonstrate something very interesting. Check back here for details.
December Demo: Holiday Party!!! Potluck Dinner. Club provides wine, soft drinks and sandwiches. Be prepared for a Team Turning Event and lots of fun.

Saturday Open Lathes Open every Saturday morning 8:30am to Noon.
Thursday Evening Open Lathes Open every Thursday evening 6:00pm to 9:00pm.

June 16th (Sat) Annual KCWT Potluck Picnic Lunch at Shelter #6 Shawnee Mission Park, Shawnee, KS: 10:00am - 3:00pm.
June 23rd and 24th (Sat/Sun) The Maker Faire at Union Station, KCMO. There will be a signup sheet for demonstrators and helpers.
